FAQ

What is a Virtual adventure with a live PERFORMER?

Our virtual adventures are a mix of social game, immersive theater, and roleplaying that you can enjoy from the comfort of your home. Virtual entertainment is at its best when it’s with others, and we love how coming together for a show time creates an opportunity to create your own stories with friends and family. Our adventures are designed to be fun for novices and experts. When you show up for an adventure in VR, you’ll be greeted by a real live person acting out the characters of the world. They will be your host, guide, and at times, your nemesis. You’ll have to work together to solve puzzles and fight your way to the end game before time runs out. For those who love VR, escape rooms, cooperative board games, multiplayer games, Dungeons & Dragons, and immersive theater, our virtual adventures are for you.

Who will join me on my adventure?

You can experience Dr. Crumb alone, in a public show with other players, or you can go on a private adventure with your friends, family, or co-workers who can join you from anywhere in the world. After you buy a ticket or multiple tickets, we will send you instructions on how to download the app to prepare for the adventure.

What do we need to play?

Our VR adventures work on the Oculus Quest, and we also provide beta support for the Oculus Rift, Oculus Rift S, and HTC Vive, the Valve Index, Vive Cosmos, and Windows Mixed Reality (with Steam VR)! The experience works cross-platform so as long as your friends and family have one of these devices, you can play with them!

Our adventures are designed to be a seated or standing experience.

We do not support PSVR but have it on our roadmap.

If I have multiple Oculus Quest devices that use the same account, will it work?

Yes! When you sign up, you’ll get an invite in your email. After accepting, you’ll be able to download our adventure app on both devices.

If you are using multiple Quest devices in the same household, we recommend using headphones or playing in separate rooms to avoid microphone feedback.

How much does it cost?

We have 3 kinds of shows. A nightly discounted feature show for $15, public shows for $20, or book out a private show for $120.

Ok! I’m interested. CAN YOU GO INTO MORE DETAILS ON THE PROCESS?

When you buy a ticket, you'll receive an email with instructions on how to download the game, and a calendar invite. If you bought multiple tickets, we will send you a signup link you can share with your guests.

As part of the setup, you’ll receive a 6-digit game code that you’ll enter in the digital lobby of the app at the time of your adventure. You’ll be granted access to the V.I.A.’s training room 5 minutes beforehand and your mission briefing will start 5 minutes after the hour. We ask that you show up on time.

Adventure awaits!
